BSAC Octopus Diving Club Kit Stolen

BSAC Octopus Diving Club in Doncaster have called on social media to help retrieve stolen dive kit this weekend. Posting on Facebook, Morag McKay writes:

“[The club] have had all their training gear stolen from Askern Leisure Centre, near Doncaster in South Yorkshire. Stolen from padlocked cupboards behind padlocked gates.

“This includes regulators, BC jackets, belts cylinders and more. Please can you share this far and wide. This is all the training gear for new members.”

The following items were stolen sometime between Friday 27th April and Saturday 28th April 2018.

  • BCD’s: 4 xBuddy Commando BCDs. Black with yellow & white piping.
  • Regulators: 4 x Scubapro and 4 x Apeks regulators including second stages, SPG and hoses on each set.
  • Air Cylinders: 1 x 15 litre and 3 x 12 litre steel cylinders.

Morag continues:

“Anyone being offered scuba diving gear from non-reputable sources, please report to the police in the first instance.”
